Everyday there seems to be a new leak from Blackberry about a BB10 handset, the latest leak is shaping up to the their flagship handset, The BlackBerry 10 Aristo. “Aristo” is actually Greek for “the best” and judging from the very complete spec sheet it is like to be the top phone of the Canadian companies portfolio.

Blackberry 10 Aristo Smartphone Specification Leaked – Possibly RIMs New Flagship Device

The Aristo is a 5.35 inch smartphone with the high end Qualcomm APQ8064 Krait Quad Core 1.5GHz which is in the Snapdragon S4 Pro processor family and has the ability to hit 1.7 GHz when it’s only using one core. 2GB of RAM is quickly becoming standard in all high end smartphones, it’s accompanied byt 16GB of memory along side a MicroSD card slot that is good up to 16GB and MicroUSB, MicroHDMI, NFC, DLNA and Bluetooth 4.0. It’s display is a respectable OCTA Glass OLED 4.65″, 1280×720 and 24bit color, OCTA is a development of Samsung Mobile Display. OCTA – On-Cell Touch Active-Matrix Light-Emitting Diode (AMOLED).

This is an LTE handset that comes with Wi-Fi “n” that will be backwards compatibile with a/b/g. We’re also seeing blazing fast speeds from a 2.5GHz/5GHz with 4G MobileHotspot.

The camera repeats with 8MP. This should have seen 12MP with everything else in place. The usual suspects of 1080p/30fps are here. The front-facing camera see’s a nice 2MP update at 720p

Another high end inclusion worth mentioning is that it’s got the baseband modem is the MDM9x15 (possibly the 9615 – if so this is the same one found in the iPhone 5.

It’s only 8.85mm thick and is still able to offer a 2800mAh battery, the downside is that it’s non removable.

Here is the complete spec sheet below, we’re looking forward to seeing this one in person since it makes things clear that Blackberry is serious about not shutting its doors.

What I don’t get is why hand out 16:10 devices to developers to then release a 16:9 phone :/ on top of it one with less DPI so interface will look unnecessarily bigger than intended.
