This is not the cheapest W8 tablet as the Acer W510 (the only other 10″ W8 tablet for now) has the same price without the keyboard/battery dock.
The Acer w510 is thinner (O.88 cm) and lighter (560 g) and comes with an optional detachable keyboard for $100 more.
This option makes all the difference.

The lack of it for this Asus VivoTab is a deal breaker for me.
A bluetooth keyboard is a pain in mobile use and prevent it from being used on your lap or in your bed.
So, it’s a big fail for me.
