ASUS Unleashes Three Touch Friendly Notebooks the VivoBook Q200, S400 and S500

All models start off with a Intel Core i3 processor but you can also get the VivoBook in the Core i7 variety. Their price range for the Q200 starts at $499, while the S400 has been priced at $500 and finally the S500 will run you $649. The VivoBook is now available from Amazon so if you’re keen on heading over to check out the series of devices here is link.

The design of the VivoBook is reminiscent of ASUS’ other product line, the Zenbook Prime line up, the biggest difference being the lack some high end features like 1080p display’s and SSDs. Instead you’ll find a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 and rather then an SSD you’ve got a conventional hard drive, and a 24GB SSD on the side for the Windows 8 OS. Today was just a sneak peek into ASUS’ latest hardware and as much as we hate to tell you this we still have yet to get an official announcement from the company about the full details of the product. But not to worry though because the Vivo Book series will launch simultaneously with the much buzzed about latest operating system from Microsoft which is Windows 8 – on October 26, 2012. We’ll update you more on Friday in the mean time here’s the video:
