ASUS loves to surprise and shock with their daring gadget combinations. With the Transformer Book Trio, ASUS has certainly impressed everyone at Computex 2013. ASUS Transformer Book Trio Hands On Video

The IPS-Panel with Full HD resolution can detach from the keyboard portion just like other hybrids, but when you take a glance at the keyboard, you realize that something very different is going on here. On the keyboard, ASUS has placed a function key that allows the user to switch from Android Jelly Bean to Windows 8.

Under the hood things get even more crazy. As if a 2 GHz Intel Atom Z2580 processor wasn’t enough, there’s a mighty Intel Core i7-4500U Haswell-Generation processor on board for Windows 8 mode.

You can also connect to an external monitor and use the Transformer Book Trio in desktop mode. It has a 1 TB hard drive and a 64 GB SSD as well. What more can you ask for? We don’t know pricing for sure yet, but we are told to expect the Transformer Book Trio in the 3rd Quarter. Here’s our hands on video for more:
