ASUS has presented an armada of Intel Haswell powered devices at Computex 2013. The ASIS Transformer Book T300 detachable ultrabook is no exception and comes equipped with the Haswell chip onboard.
It’s been a while since we encountered the Transformer Book at IFA, and even longer before we found it on the market. But now we got to see the new generation with the Haswell upgrade and it’s great.
The TX300 was made of aluminum, but the new Transformer Book T300 is made completely of plastic. The keyboard is somewhat lighter and the new 13.3 inch display has a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080.
Buyers can choose between the Core i3-, Core i5- or Core i7 Haswell-Generation processors and the device comes with 4 GB. As for memory, a 256 GB SSD is included and there is a micro SD card slot as well fro expanding memory. Availability and price are still up in the air, but we should know by fall.
