As windows surface and other windows based tablets are gaining momentum and pushing sales through the roof, Asus has recently come up with the expensive 11.6” Vivo Tab and Vivo RT Tab and it looks like they aren’t done yet with the 10 inch ME-400 tablet. This gorgeous 10” tab will feature an Intel Atom processor and come with a Windows 8 operating system installed out of the box. It will be initially launched in France with the US and other countries to follow.

With an unholy combination of looks and features, the ME-400 tab will sport a 10” hi-res screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. It is powered by Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail processor, has 2 GB of RAM, up to 64 GB of internal storage and microSD card for further storage expansion. Not much is known about the battery life, camera, performance, 3D capabilities and accessories. But with a hefty price tag of $670 – $700, evidently this gizmo is not for everyone.

As of now that is all we can find out about this tab, but more information will uncover as a Windows 8 launch event is being organized by Asus in New York city pretty soon.
