We knew that Archos would come up with a few retina tablets for CES. With the Archos 97B Titanium HD, we have a brand new Retina Tablet. We got a closer look at the device today at CES.

The tablet has a great resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and a dual core 1.6 GHz processor.Other specs of the tablet include: Mali 400 GPU, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB memory. A microSD card slot provides more space and there are two cameras: a 2 and 5 megapixel camera.

There was no wireless at the booth, so we weren’t able to test the CPU to see if it could handle that high resolution with complex programs, gaming or multitasking applications.

The 10.1-inch tablet will cost 249 euros and we’re really interested in giving it a test run. For now, check out this hands on video:
