Sometimes the rumor mill gets it right and when it comes to Google right now, it seems like they can’t keep a secret. Rumors of an October 29th Android event have been confirmed with the invite you can see below.

The event is taking place at 10AM in New York City with Google Now likely to be a topic as the graphics and tagline “the playground is open,” indicate. Google hasn’t been able to keep a secret since LG Nexus 4 has basically been outed and photos of a handset from Sony have also surfaced. Rumors of a multi-manufacturer Nexus program might be true.

Google will be streaming the event live on YouTube so you can virtually be there if you choose.
