Today on 3 from Asia we head down to Intel’s Technology Showcase here in Taiwan. What we have here are innovations from a joint partnership between Intel, ITRI & National Taiwan University.
This time last year Intel CTO Jutin Rattner visited Taiwan to announce a partnership with Taiwan’s National University and the Industrial Technology Research Insitute (ITRI), he’s back with news of the fruits of these unions today at the Intel Technology Showcase. The big technology they were showing off was an experimental memory array which enables low energy platforms through 3D stacking which should be able to push forward innovations in fields such as wearable computing.
We took a closer look at the Spring Meadow Demo showcasing a 30% reduction in battery consumption.
As well as a demo that explores the emotional associations people have with images, and the potential of images to foster emotionally rich exchange.
